"Maria Elena" - the original version of this very famous song is a song written in 1932 by Lorenzo Barcelata. The song was performed by many other artists, and the greatest popularity brought her instrumental performance of the Brazilian guitar duo Los Indios Tabajaras (album "Sweet And Savage" 1958).
